RES Healthcare is a group of young, energetic and adventurous South African Doctors and Health & Safety practitioners. We are driven to provide quality health, safety and community services to projects and communities in Africa by empowering and equipping people to serve with excellence.

Medical
Set-up
​This includes stocking the site with appropriate First Aid kits, primary emergency medical equipment, medication and consumables and other items as deemed necessary.

Medical Assessments
RES Healthcare has created a unique solution that enables our medical practitioners to provide comprehensive medical assessments even in the most remote locations. Our assessments, which meet all the requirements of a preemployment medical, comprise a wide range of diagnostic tests as well as physical and mental health screenings.

ESG
Strategy
The core of this strategy will be Group Health Data compiled from the medical assessments conducted on local project employees. These tests performed on a key subset of the population provide valuable insight into the wider social and health needs of the community. In conjunction with community engagement meetings with local authorities and healthcare providers this data will for the basis of a robust ESG strategy from which sustainable and powerful community engagement efforts can be launched. As a part of our ESG scope, we conceptualize and drive sustainable healthcare focused community upliftment programs.

First Aid &
Health
Awareness Training
Onsite First Aid training specific to the project requirements. This includes a ‘dry-run’ of the emergency response procedures as a way of testing the team’s response and providing training. Health awareness training provided to local employees that is created according to the health needs of the population as ascertained by the medical assessment data.

Procedure
Set up and trial of emergency response. In an emergency it is normal for everyone to panic. Seconds can save a life. It is crucial to make sure the ERP is well thought out, coordinated and rehearsed.
