However, a comprehensive review of all available data in turn may also reveal potential areas for discovery. Our process driven approach is non-prescriptive, providing key information on the geodynamic environment, the tectonic and geological settings as well as the type of fluid associated with the genesis and minersalisation of the deposit. These insights are gained by answering key questions related to the source, transport medium, pathway followed, kinetic origin, the physical or chemical trap, timeframe and preservation of the mineral deposit. The answer to these questions provides us with the insight needed to generate a prediction model which can be used to further investigate the mineral potential of targeted areas.
