GEOSCIENTIFIC CONSULTING

Developing a Mineral Exploration project from prospecting to production is a costly and challenging pursuit. Not only do you need to be confident that the people doing the investigating are up to the task, they need to know where to look and most importantly know how to find what you are looking for.

WHO IS LOOKING?

RES increases the opportunity for success by offering a Geoscientific Consulting service that combines two critical elements in the quest for a discovery, A Committed Team and Quality Datasets. Our multi-disciplinary team comprises Geoscientific Experts who are skilled Geologists, Geochemists and Geophysicists combining decades of experience with the latest technologies focused on uncovering an economically viable mineral deposit.

WHERE TO LOOK?

We employ a mineral systems approach aimed at providing a framework that considers all the geological processes which control the formation and preservation of mineral deposits. Using both historical and novel data, our interpretation efforts focus on known and unknown sources. We recognise that clusters of deposits most often form in productive belts and that exploration should proceed outward from known mineralization. However, a comprehensive review of all available data in turn may also reveal potential areas for discovery. Combining these two insights with experience and cutting-edge technology enables our Geoscientific Consultants to offer high-level expertise across a wide array of minerals.

HOW TO LOOK?

Our process driven approach is non-prescriptive, providing key information on the geodynamic environment, the tectonic and geological settings as well as the type of fluid associated with the genesis and minersalisation of the deposit. These insights are gained by answering key questions related to the source, transport medium, pathway followed, kinetic origin, the physical or chemical trap, timeframe and preservation of the mineral deposit. The answer to these questions provides us with the insight needed to generate a prediction model which can be used to further investigate the mineral potential of targeted areas.
