Adam Wooldridge
Principal Geoscientist

About

Adam Wooldridge is a geophysicist and geologist with more than 23 years' experience in a diverse range of mineral and exploration projects throughout Africa, Europe and the Middle East. Adam's work experience includes design, implementation, processing and interpretation of geophysical surveys as well as managing exploration programmes. He and has worked in various capacities at NRG, FUGRO, Minserv, BHP and Goldfields and currently acts as a technical director for Kalahari Metals Ltd and Vardar Minerals Ltd, privately owned exploration companies operating in Africa and Europe. 

 

Prior to joining RES Adam founded Xpotential Geoscientific Services, which is now a fully owned subsidiary of RES. At RES Adam provides technical direction to the consulting team particularly with regards to 3D modelling, inversions and regional compilations for exploration project generation. 

 

Adam’s key strength is his ability to integrate geophysical data with geological info, particularly when targeting specific styles of mineralisation.​

Joshua Kilani
Senior Geologist

About

Joshua holds an MSc. Eng. in Mineral Economics from the University of the Witwatersrand. He joined RES in 2011 and has since been involved in numerous projects across Africa.

 

As a Senior Geologist Joshua is responsible for the establishment and supervision of successful teams on projects as well as project planning, data management and technical reporting.

 

In his role as General Manager of the Company his task is to leverage his intrinsic understanding of the business in a strategic manner that allows for the direction and co-ordination of various departments, business units and projects towards higher performance.

Joshua Kilani

Charl van Rensburg
Brand Manager

About

Charl has over 20 years’ experience in brand building, business communication and copywriting. After graduating from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University with an Honours Degree in Industrial & Economic Sociology and Development Studies, he started his career working on large public sector change management projects. Recognising the critical role clear communication played in these Projects, Charl turned his attention to Corporate Communication, writing a Master’s Thesis on Quality Assurance in Corporate Branding.

 

Following this, and almost a decade in the coatings industry, Charl founded his own Brand Communication business in 2010 assisting B2B clients in creating and building brands, developing communication strategies and as a technical copywriter. Counting RES amongst some of his early clients, Charl spent the next ten years working for clients in the financial, engineering, retail, tech, chemicals, tourism, plastics and mineral industries. Over this period, he co-founded an award-winning Social Enterprise addressing food security in underdeveloped urban areas and also an investment fund focused on developing opportunities in emerging markets.

In 2021 Charl joined RES as its Brand Manager, relishing the opportunity to help make RES the most sought-after mineral exploration company to work with and to work for.
